KENNETH
HUNG Kenneth was born and raised in Hong Kong and immigrated to San Francisco when he was eighteen years old. Kenneth obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Arts degree from San Francisco State University in 2001 with an emphasis in photography. Upon graduation, Kenneth started creating series of artworks that later was shown in over twenty countries. He was interviewed by numerous international publications including Liberation (France), Le Monde (France), El Pais (Spain), Speigel (Germany) and La Repubblica (Italy). Kenneth's artistic career was recognized internationally when he won the "VIPER International Award- Internet" in the 2002 VIPER Internationales Festival Für Film Video Und Neue Medien (Basel, Switzerland), and was given an "Honorary Mention- Net Excellence" in the 2002 Prix Ars Electronica (Linz, Austria). With the recognition from the international arts circle, commissions by international clients soon poured in and leaded Kenneth into the career as a freelance visual designer. His clients includes Rem Koolhaas (Netherlands), Miller Genuie Draft (United Kingdom), Felix da Housecat (United States), Oskar Vodafone (Czech Republic) and Wired magazine (United States). Deciding it was time to change, Kenneth moved to New York in fall 2005 and soon being recruited by Mr. Mark Osberger to join Axis Films for his exuberant and cutting edge visual styles. |
